Happy New Year All! I'm not sure I feel any different crossing over into this new year, but I am relieved to see 2024 in the rear view mirror. I'm exactly 10 days post surgery and I'm healing nicely! I had a few days of some real, crazy pain but that's to be expected. And just like that, I'm healing up and functioning at 98% (still can't life over 15 lbs for another 2 weeks or so).

Today I started Tamoxifen. I'll be documenting any and all (if any) side effects for the. next 30 days leading up to my next oncology appointment. Wish me luck! I was a bit anxious about it but now going about my day ...

Jon has been in Puerto Rico with Leah (a Senior Year gift) since the 1st and while at first I enjoyed some alone time, now I just miss the crap out of him. I mean, we are besties and do everything together so it's been lonely. And I talk to him more than anyone else, so I've been doing a lot of talking to the dogs - and myself (even more so than usual).

I've also been binging Suits. I didn't just start. I started a while ago and I'm on the final season. I honestly didn't think I would enjoy it as much as I do. Jon had watched it when it first aired and I must not have been very interested at the time but did catch quite a few episodes here and there but that was several years ago now. Now that it's on Netflix (and my friend Mandy was hardcore into it) I decided to start from the beginning. And, I too, got hardcore into it. It's a great show!!
